Southeastern Regional Performing Arts Center

Project Summary

A large school with a significant and growing theater arts program, Southeastern Regional needed to add a new theater to their expanding footprint. On a tight budget, PCA360 carefully managed a value engineering process that resulted in a new 288-seat Performing Arts Center serving the school’s student population and nine member communities. In addition to the theater arts program, the new facility serves as a regional theater, accommodating area performances. The circular building features a thrust stage, extensive stage lighting, over-stage rigging, a backstage green room, dressing rooms, and state-of-the-art technical equipment. An outer, semi-circular glass-enclosed art studio and gallery showcases artwork and hosts local events.
